I am unable to fill in a shape. I have tried to tap and hold and nothing happens. Could there be a setting that I am missing?

Hi Gwen,

Could you please elaborate the steps you are using to fill in color on the app in your iPad?

Regards,

I make a closed circle, i have tried doing this both with the shape tool and freehand. I have tried taping once and then holding, and I have also just tried pressing down. In both cases I cannot get the color to fill in. However, I have no problem with this on my iphone.

Hi Gwen,

Sorry it's not working for you. The gesture is definitely a press-and-hold inside the shape. A couple of questions:

Which iPad are you using and what version of iOS is on it?

Have you tried force-quitting the app, restarting your iPad, then relaunching the app?

Also, is it the same shape, in the same drawing that you're able to fill on your iPhone and not on your iPad?

Let me know.

Sue.

Gwen.

Sorry you had to go through the hassle of that but I'm glad it's working again.

Sue.
