Yes, you can upgrade to Lightroom 6 for a single payment (in the United States, the price is $79).

Go to Software & Services , scroll down to Photoshop Lightroom (that's the official name of Lightroom 6), then click on Buy

Can I do this in Ireland, when i use your link it asks for US id - I have Irish ID.

Open www.adobe.com, scroll down and select (your) region and let it load.

Again, scroll down and select Products. Scroll down to LR and click on Buy on the right side - do NOT click on LR on the left.
