When I open on of my folders into Lightroom CC Jpeg photos are greyed out and carry the above message. The dng photos  are highlighted as normal ready to import.

All the photos, both jpegs and dngs are available in the C drive My Photos folder I am trying to import from. I can't find  duplicates of the greyed out files anytwhere else in my computer . Can anyone please help me sort this out?

In the settings dialog, see if you have the option turned on to treat JPG and raw as the same file, which might import only the raw file.
