I have a brand new (late 2016) 15" MacBook Pro running macOS Sierra 10.12.3.  2.9GHz i7. 16GB RAM. 2TB SSD storage.  Radeon Pro 460 with 4GB RAM.  I am trying to export 1070 images that are resized to go into a time lapse video.  Lightroom crashes every time I attempt to export this batch of files (or other batches of files), usually around image number 20 or so.  The app doesn't just crash...it causes the computer to actually reboot.  I tried exporting the same files on a Mac Pro with no issues.

I have reset my preferences and also disabled GPU, neither solved the issue.

It appears that resetting the SMC and PRAM solves this problem.
