LRCC doesn't recognize my camera lens

Recently I am noticing that when I check the lens correction box in the develop mode in LRCC it will say "none". If I select Canon manually then it may recognize my lens and may not. It may show a short list of lenses that may or may not be mine. Whats up with this. It worked perfect for years. thanks, Robert

I eventually spoke to a tech at Adobe and it seems that the lens correction doesn't work with a jpeg file, only camera raw. I most always shoot Raw so this last shoot was jpg and it surprised me that no correction can be applied. I think the correction is done in camera for jpg.

thanks to all robert

With that Enable Correction box unchecked do you see this at the bottom of that area?
