Will Adobe be updating their ACR for CS6 from 9.1.1. to version 9.3? The Canon point & shoot raw files CR2 won't open with ACR 9.1.1 and won't convert to DNG or TIFF files either.

You need to be using the version of the DNG converter which has been updated to recognize your camera. You've probably got DNG 9.1.1 installed.

Download the current version of the DNG converter (9.9)

Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC

Then follow these steps

Adobe Digital Negative Converter 9.x

No, Camera Raw 9.1.1 is the last version to be compatible with CS6. There won't be any more updates for CS6.

Should convert to DNG OK. What problem are you having with the converter?

When i download the CR2 file and check the box to convert to DNG i get a message that ACR can't make the conversion. When i mark the file in Adobe Bridge and try to use PS Image Processor to convert it to a TIFF it won't make that conversion either. What am i missing? Seems like my attempt to use raw files from canon's latest is worthless if i can't use the raw files.......
