lost check boxes and radial buttons

When  editing a document in InCopy, the check boxes and radial buttons were lost on the InDesign File. Any suggestions?

Can you confirm the version of InDesign and InCopy you are using with which Operating System?

I'm using the 2017 CC versions of both on windows 10.

Can you indicate how you created the checkboxes and radio buttons in InCopy?

The checkboxes and radio buttons were created in inDesign. It's just after editing the document in inCopy and re-opening the document in inDesign the checkboxes and radio buttons were lost.
