My image look a lot different when i import it into Photoshop lightroom

When I Import images into lightroom the Photo thumbnails look fine but when I go onto the Develop tab the image looks very messed up. What do I do to fix it?

In the Preferences dialogue, go to the 'Performance' tab and uncheck 'Use Graphics Processor'.
