PMS color printing

Hi,

I have created a file that needs to be printed with pms. I have never done this before and I'm not sure if there are any steps I need to take to have this come out good. Right now I have the file set to RGB color, does this matter? Is there anything I specifically have to do?

Ask your printer. PMS are considered 'spot' colors and those are managed by Photoshop in the channels. Illustrator is much better for handling this. Your printer may be willing to do the separations for you. It's worth asking.
