Garbage matte (correctiemasker) does not work with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 ?

Hi,

I tried in many ways to apply a garbage mask ( 4 or 8 points) on a MPEG-4 AVC/H.264-file but correction points are not visible but even if you see the borders there are no gripping points. If a try the same trick on a .mts file it works fine.

Any idea how to solve this problem?

- the mpeg files comes from my (very new) Olympus OM D II camera (MOV fhd, 50p frs)

- I work with elements 14

KUn je de clips van de Olympus wel gewoon editen?

Zijn de project settings gelijk aan de clips?

Ja ik kan de clips van Olympus gewoon editen. werkt allemaal prima.

Intussen ontdekt dat als ik de extensie van de originele olympus-file hernoem in .mts de tool van première wel werkt. Ik kan het bestand ook gewoon exporteren en afspelen op mijn pc, maar ik heb geen idee welke gevolgen dit hernoemen van de file heeft.

Please make sure you have clicked on the effect [garbage matte] in the right panel to manually edit the points.
