Slideshow freezing in play mode

Issue not occurring in preview mode just play ( full screen) tried all the online guides and answers to no avail

Strange thing is if you move the mouse continually whilst slide show running it works normally !

Any ideas

Mac OS Sierra, 10,12,3 on 2015 Mac book pro

Lightroom latest release 2015.9
