I have Lightroom 6 and I use Canon 5Mark II & III pretty extensively. I tried to connect the camera with the orange tether cord after following all the posted info to correct LR 6 not connecting to those cameras. Is there an update for LR 6  to correct the problem. The EOS utilitys works as it should(I quit that app for use with LR), but even it does not connect with LR 6. I even tried a short cord with no resolution.I need another solution.

The latest version of Lightroom 6 is 6.9, check to see if what you have installed is LR 6.9.

See the following link for help.
