Affterr Effects, Deleted Recent Projects

After Effects deleted all my recent files after it shut down.

Are they missing from the Recent Projects listing in AE, or are they actually gone off your hard drive?  Please clarify.

Hi kylen_7,

As stated by Dave LaRonde, please let us know, if the projects are missing from the Recent files in the Start window in AfterEffects or the project files(.aep files) are missing?
