Clicking images in the film strip does not display that image

Hello from Canada, everyone

In the last few days I have noticed that clicking an image in the filmstrip at the bottom of the screen does not always change the image on the screen right away, and sometimes it takes so long that I end up restarting the app. If I try to switch from Develop to Library, I get a message saying there is an error message about switching modules and I get a blank screen with no image in the centre.

Anyone come across this? Anyone have a fix?

Try turning off the GPU option in the LR Preferences on the performance tab.

Thank you, this seems to have helped a bit, but the image on the screen does not always change when I click on another image in the filmstrip. Oddly, the image in the navigation panel does change immediately.
