To explain - when building a menu in Muse, If I chose to build a custom menu (say using compositions) as opposed to using the built in Muse menu widget, does it affect how the site in indexed or appears in Goolge search results?
Furthermore, If I need my site to be read by a screenreader for accessibility reasons, I guess I should use the default Muse Widget?
Any information people may have on this will be greatly appreciated!
It has zero influence on Google. Google analyses the links and structure, not the visual appearance. Of course building a menau manually may not sort the files correctly e.g. in the sitemap.xml, but that's nothing you can't fix in the file itself or by controlling your advanced search appearance settings on the Google dashboard.
