Hi there,
Hopefully someone can help me out.
I have a document that is about 500 pages long. I am looking to change only specific sections of font throughout the document. Is there a way for me to 'swap' the font type or perhaps use some kind of find and replace to save me from having to do this task manually within each text box.
I am using Adobe Acrobat Distiller DC / 1.6 / Acrobat 7.x
Thanking you very much in advance for anyone that can give me a helping hand!
Zoe

This is not the kind of editing that should be attempted in a PDF file. You need to edit the original file and then create a new PDF, or export the PDF to an editable format (like MS Word), edit it there, and then generate a new PDF from that file.

Oh theres a way. Theres is a whole plug-in to Acrobat Pro for this, and many more editing aspects. For this you would (buy) Pitstop and make global changes , but yes this is absolutley possible.

There is nothing that is built into Acrobat that would allow you to do that, but third party plug-ins can actually accomplish this: Take a look at Enfocus PitStop Pro: PitStop Pro Software - Detect & Correct Errors in PDFs
