Sync and delete??

So, my macbook is running out of space, so in order to edit on my desktop, can I sync to lightroom mobile and then delete from my mac Lightroom, or will this delete from Light room mobile as well?

No. It doesn't work that way. The sync is done with high res preview files, not the original images. Buy an external hard drive and move all of your image files to the external drive. You can re link the images in Lightroom after you move them. It's pretty easy to do, and external hard drives aren't that expensive any more.
