AE cc2015 and 17 both have this silly error when importing jpg sequence “zero denominator in ratio multiply”. The fix, I’ve found on some site is to interpret JPG sequence to “preserve RGB”. Is there a way to make AE set that as default?

Importing JPG sequences and setting each to color management “preserve RGB” gets tired really fast. It does nothing but fix useless error cc2015+ introduced.

Could you please fix this already, or at the very least make that option on by default so that AE does not derp when importing jpg files. Thank you.

That sounds really frustrating. Thank you for sharing what works here on the forums for your fellow users to see.

If you want Adobe to see it, you can send a feature request/bug report directly to the After Effects team here.
