Suddenly I can only see 3 photos in my fimstrip - I've tried changing filters and views to no avail. They all show up in Import. Been a user for 2 years and never had this problem before - tried updating Lightroom but no luck with the problem.

A couple of possibilities come to mind-

1. The Preview cache has become corrupted.

Lightroom error on preview cache or displays gray thumbnails

2. Windows possibly changed the Graphics drivers or the Monitor Profile.

Try changing the monitor profile- Photos appear as black, gray, or blank rectangles in Lightroom

Read the section:    Solution 2: Associate sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Color profile on your system

and check you have the best drivers for your Graphics card.

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.

Some more information from you may help-

What version number of Lightroom? OS?

Have you actually tried deleting the... [Catalog-name] Previews.lrdata ... entire folder?

What Graphics Card?

What option are you using in the Preferences/Performance Tab, [Use Graphics Processor] ?

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.
