Hallo zusammen,

der Titel sagt alles aus. Ich möchte das LR die Metadaten in der Datei(en) speichert.

Die Option wird mir aber nicht angeboten. Weiß wer Rat?

Verwende LR 6. Das manuelle Speichern über Metadaten --> Speichern (STRG-S) funktioniert.

If the problem is still happening on an existing catalog, it would be good to post a bug report with screenshots to the official Adobe feedback forum: Photoshop Lightroom | Photoshop Family Customer Community

To be clear, you're going to Edit / Catalog Settings / Metadata and the checkbox "Automatically write changes into XMP" is missing from the edit section?

Some troubleshooting steps:

1. Please post a screenshot of the entire Catalog Settings window.

2. Do Help > System Info and report the exact version of LR and Windows/Mac.

This could give clues as to what's going on.
