HI, I have same issue.

Everything I try to preview, I receive the error the error:RAM Preview needs 2 or more frames to playback

even if I create a solid level and do a simple animation.

I tried everything, purge, set up low resolution comp, clear cache... no way!

I'm a expert user, I have also a license on mac OS X and I do not have any problem.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi GuidoPaggott,

That's terrible. What kind of footage are you using?

Thanks,

Kevin

I've witnessed this same error from time to time too.  The most obvious is of course to ensure the comp is in fact longer than a frame or two.  I'm sure you've checked that.

The fix for me has often been to drop the footage and import it back in but that hasn't worked every time.  On a good note, it only seemed to impact ram preview and not the render.
