I am having problems with Develop mode.  I have seen on other posts from people having same problems that it seems to be an easy fix PREFRENCES - Performance and uncheck Use graphics processor.

When i open up preferences on my lightroom (mac computer, lightroom 4.4) there is no performance tab.

Anyone know where to find it?

Thanks

The Performance tab is in Lightroom CC/Lightroom 6.  It is not available in LR5 or earlier.

When i import the photo to library the photo is fine.  As soon i click develop this happens.  A little like a negative effect on the bottom right.   Its happening in all photos not just dark sunset ones

Yes, there is a little bit of rainbow banding down in the lower-right corner.

The first thing I would check is your monitor profile. Lightroom is very sensitive to corrupted monitor profiles; you might need to recreate it by calibrating your monitor again.
