lightroom and photoshop CC

My lightroom and photoshop are so incredibly laggy I can barely edit any photos. Below are my specs:

Processor	Intel Core i7 1.7/3.3 Ghz
RAM	8 GB
Hard Drive	128 GB
Graphics Coprocessor	Intel HD Graphics 5000

I am using a surface pro 3 with a7r ii. The specs seem to meet the requirements. Is this still not that good enough for quality performance?

May I know the version of Lightroom you are using?

Please update your graphics card drivers from manufacturer's website.
