When I highlight words myself or open up documents that are supposed to be highlighted (from people who sent them to me) sometimes the highlighting is missing. What do I do?

Hi Spaul531,

There could be a possibility that the application has some pending updates to install.

  • You may first check the pending updates, launch application>Help>Check for update
  • If that doesn't help, Go to >Help> Repair installation.

Let us know if it doesn't help to fix this problem.

Regards,

Akanchha

Hi Spaul,

What is the exact version of Adobe Acrobat you are working on? Launch Acrobat>Help>About Acrobat.

LATEST

Acrobat IX is a very old version of Acrobat series, which has also now been declared as a discontinued product.

There could or could not be a possibility that it has the compatibility issue with the operating system you are working on (if you have the latest one).

End of support | Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 (and earlier)

Akanchha
