Creative Cloud has overtaken previous version of software

I have CS6 and Lightroom 4 on my iMac.  I tried upgrading to the CC versions of the software and hated them.  I canceled my subscription and removed the software and went back to using my previous versions.  All of a sudden my photoshop cs6 has been taken back over by the creative cloud app, and it will not allow me to use the app without "updating my subscription".  I have downloaded the uninstaller again, but to no avail.  Any thoughts on how to get back to be able to use my previously purchased software?

Uninstall CS6 because it was updated, uninstall the creative cloud app. Use the uninstaller in the CS6 folder.

Then use the Cleaner Tool to remove any install records.  Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Then reinstall. Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications by downloading the Photoshop CS6 installer.

It should take your serial number and give you the base 13.0.0 install.
