Imported to LR but now I can't find them?

Hello all,

I am MAJORLY freaking out. I took my brothers wedding pictures in November. I Imported into LR from the camera the next day. The day After I look through them, edited a few with presets and uploaded them to Facebook.  I had to work away for a few months and when I came back to finish editing them they were all gone. Everything I have uploaded before and after is there but those ones are missing, including the edited ones which I always export to desktop. I have no Idea what happened and they don't seem to even be on my computer. I have tried the "find missing pictures" button and it says there are none missing. I don't even see the file name anywhere. Any ideas?? I am working with a Mac desktop

One possibility is that the wedding pictures are in another catalog.

Go to File > Open Recent, and open any catalogs listed, one by one.

I have no Idea what happened and they don't seem to even be on my computer.

Why do you say this? Did you use your operating system's search feature to search ALL hard disks for these photos by file name? If not, please do so.

I have never done that, how do I do that?
