Hi,

You may try following steps , it may help

PowerPoint 2007
Click PowerPoint Office Button > PowerPoint Options > Add-ins.
Click the Manage menu, select Disabled Items, and then click Go.
In the Disabled Items dialog box, click the Presenter add-in, and then click Enable.
Click Close.

or/and

Click PowerPoint Office Button > PowerPoint Options > Add-ins.
Click the Manage menu, select COM Add-ins, and then click Go.
In the COM Add-ins dialog box, check "Adobe Presenter PowerPoint COM Addin "
Click OK.

After making these changes , make sure to close PowerPoint and Open it again .

Found these steps at http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb403553&sliceId=1
I hope this helps

sorry for reacting a little later

like you suggested i did the following

Click PowerPoint Office Button > PowerPoint Options > Add-ins.
Click the Manage menu, select COM Add-ins, and then click Go.
In the COM Add-ins dialog box, check "Adobe Presenter PowerPoint COM Addin " => here my screen simply gives the following text in dutch -> COM ADD-ins

there is no list
so i do add

i can find in my list the menulauncher.dll
i select it and i Click OK.

i receive the COM ADD-ins - screen again

there is no list nor item in it

and so presenter can not be launched

I'm experiencing the same problem running under Vista Ultimate SP1. I've gone in and tried to manually add the menulauncher.dll, install/uninstall/reinstall with same results.

This may work for your situation,

(1) While presenter is still installed , copy menulauncher.dll from the the installed program folder for presenter , then past it into the default folder for PowerPoint add-ins...
(2) Open PowerPoint as administrator, then navigate to its COM add-ins menu, when you click add, then it should open the default folder for PowerPoint add-ins with the menulauncher.dll file you copied in it. click the file to add it. should populate as a add-on. close PowerPoint.
(3) uninstall presenter. restart computer. reinstall presenter. after install it should launch PowerPoint to show the presenter tutorial (getting started file). The presenter tab should now be visible
hope this helps, it was performed with vista premium

(4) also, after you see the presenter tab .... Go to the COM add-ins and then have it point to the menulauncher.dll that is located in the program folder for presenter by clicking add then navigating to that folder (this would allow presenter to function properly).

I have followed all these instructions several times to no avail. I am on Vista Ultimate 64bit running Office 2007. I have tried every bullet point in the suggestions. Has anyone got presenter to work on 64Bit Vista?

thanks.
