WIN 10 / LR 6. Just upgraded storage on my desktop so that apps are on systems drive C;\ and my data, including LR Catalog and Pictures, is now on drive E:\. Problem is that catalog continues to point to C:\Pictures. How/Where do I set a preference to cause Catalog to find my photos on the E: drive? Structure of Pictures directories have not changed. The Preferences.agprefs file appears to have several paths containing C:\ references - where do I edit to properly direct the Catalog. Thanks.
Right click on the top level folder in the Lightroom Folder Panel, select Find Missing Folder, point to the equivalent top level folder on the E:\ drive. More details, screen captures are here: Adobe Lightroom - Find moved or missing files and folders , see especially Figure 4 and associated text.

That's what I needed - Thanks. Note that the drop down menu entry is labelled "Update Folder Location" in LR 6 standalone version.

It is Update Folder Location if the photos still exist in the original location (which wasn't clear from your message). It is Find Missing Folder if the photos are no longer in the original location.
