I apologize for taking so long in responding to your query.

Could you please check if there is an update available for Acrobat Reader?

1- Tap Play store icon on the device's home screen>tap three horizontal lines in the search box

2- Tap My apps & games

3- Locate and tap Adobe Acrobat Reader>UPDATE

Please confirm the version of Acrobat Reader installed on the device.

To check the version, launch Reader>tap 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen>Help

Tap three vertical dots again and select About Adobe Acrobat
