When I'm on a photoshoot, I upload my raw files to Lightroom on my Macbook, and make some development adjustments. When I get back home I copy the folder with my raw images to my desktop iMac using the 'export to catalog' command. This procedure normally works without a hitch. But in the last week or so, when I click 'export to catalog', the catalog info seems to copy fine, but the process hangs when it tries the copy the first of 371 raw images. I come back an hour later and LR is still trying to copy the first photo. There's no spinning ball either. The process just seems to stop.
Any suggestions?
My specs:
MacBook Pro 13inch, late 2011 model, 2.4 Ghz i5, 4GB memory
El Capitan OSX 10.11.6
Lightroom 5.7.1
