I have a some large posters to print (40" x 92") on an HP Designjet 500 PS. Have done this for years.
All of a sudden, although the paper is feeding straight, the image begins to shift to the right and off the paper.
I've run all the Printer diagnostics, done all the tests and tried printing from various file types in Photoshop (tiff, psd, jpg) and it continues to shift.
Sometimes it begins to shift within the first inch or two, sometimes 12 or more inches down.
We ran a test to see it this is affecting printing from AutoCAD, but it seems to be strictly a Photoshop issue.
Anyone have a suggestion?

Can you try saving the file in pdf format and open up in Acrobat and print from there?

Thanks for the suggestion. We're managing to print the job out using our jpg images. Right now, we're printing on a settings that aren't optimal for the job, but they're working and right now that's all I care about.
When this job is done, and not I'm not pinched for time, I'll play with a pdf file to see it that works.

I have a colleague and our IT guy working with me & They'vs been working with the settings both on the plotter & print program. It looks as though the printer, somehow, switched to default settings, so we had to set up all our print options again: print quality, optimization & rendering intent.
We've printed a panel from a new jpg file & it printed just fine. Second print seems to be printing ok, too.
