Lavasoft crashing Photoshop CC 2017 on Windows 10

How can I disable Lavasoft on Windows 10 Pro and get my CC 2017 applications working properly and not affect Google Chrome. I tried renaming the file and that worked for Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver, but it did not work for Adobe Premiere and Audition. What should I do? I was thinking of uninstalling it but I didn't want to do that before knowing what exactly Lavasoft is used for?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Uninstall Web Companion / Adaware.
