Hello,

I am creating a book in indesign.  I have it almost completed.  However, there are red numbers to the right of my links in the links spot.  I right click on them and go to the link and then relink the photo.  However, the red number does not go away!!  I have a bunch of them.  What does this mean and what do I do?  I appreciate any helps.  I'm fairly new to InDesign and in the learning stage.  I watch a lot of the video tutorials but can't seem to find the answer to this question.  Thanks,

Kathleen

As stated you have to explain what doesn't go away...as we cant tell you whether this is normal behaviour or not.

Without knowing your knowledge of InDesign here are some screenshots that help you understand the various meaning of things in the links panel:

What kind of file type?

What are the names and paths of the problematic assets? Give an EXACT example.

Remember, never say you can't do something in InDesign, it's always just a question of finding the right workaround to get the job done. © David Blatner
