Hi,

I cannot find any description for this point in the settings that says 30°, 45°, 90°. I am adding a screenshot -u nfortunately, I cannot translate the corresponding menu point - the word "Formfangfunktion" does not even exist in my language, not to speak of finding it in a dictionary. I probably checked 8-10 tutorials in search of it - no result. Does anyone know what this is for?

Thanks,

bartl

Hi Bartl,

In English, the option is listed as "Shape Snapping." This means when you are positioning a shape in the drawing, the shape will snap to increments of 30, 45 or 90 degrees if this option is turned on. You can still rotate a shape template in between, but when you come within about 3 degrees of the selected increment, the rotation will "snap" directly to that angle.

I hope this helps!

Ahhh! Mike, you are enlightening the darkness The German word would mean (translated) "formcatchfunction" ... well, close but not quite perfect, I'd say. Thank you!
