Hi all,
i am getting this error when i open the application "Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 has stopped working"i have HP workstaion Z800 desktop and using Nvidea Quadra 4000 graphics card , also all drivers up to date and tried to roll back one by one and still same issue.
i had rebuilded the OS but nothing change
OS : Windows 10 / windows updated latest version.
is there any way to fix this problem.

Post the detail in the crash report ues the reliability history viewer to find the photoshop stopped working ones. I have Windows 10 preview 15031 Imstalled and a Nvidia Quadro 4000 every time I install a new Windows 10 Preview Photoshop sill works but openCl is grayed out I need to reinstall the nvidia device driver for the Quadro 4000. I have CS2, CS6, CC, CC 2014, CC 2015, CC 2015.5 and CC 2017 Installed. CC2014 has the fewest bugs.

Mack is correct.
You need to go to the Nvidia site and make sure you have the latest video driver from that site.
Often windows updates will install or over write video drivers with a generic approved windows driver.
If you continue to crash Photoshop go to the control panel/administrative tools/event viewer/windows logs/application and find the latest crash report.
on the right side select copy "copy as text" and post the report here.

I ran the event viewer and in my case found the problem was related to AdAware's software (specifically, LavasoftTcpService64.dll). I uninstalled the software and restarted and Photoshop works again. I have had enough video card troubleshooting for a lifetime, so I'm glad I was able to avoid that particular problem this time.
