Hello.
I created an airplane type puppet and I want to illuminate the windows as if it was flying at night.
I understand the process to get this accomplished in after effects if this was simply layers imported but since the scene is locked
how can I access the layers I need to edit to accomplish this task?
Thanks

I had the same thing for a face, to get the eyes to glow. Maybe it will work for your setup.
I just put little shape circles over the eyes, and then parented these to the face. And then added effects to the circles.

Currently only full scenes come over from CH to AE (being able to bring in more is a popular request though). So for now, if this were me I would either a) use motion tracking with an add / linear dodge blended glow in AE, or b) use cycle layers to create an animated glow in the actual CH scene.

Hi,
I may try option A .. I'm not sure option B will have enough punch..unless you can recommend a method. I have created cycle layers for beacon lights but they don't really illuminate enough to be seen in dark scenes. Do you have a method that might prove more illuminating? Pun intended ..we're making puppets...

Ha. Yeah, I mean I feel like I'd have to do a baked in Photoshop effect for that to look okay. Like I'd do 5 layers of an Add blur and have them stack and build up via cycle layers, that kind of thing. Personally if I were doing a recorded piece, I'd go for option A too - you just have more control and options (for now).
