Hi guys,
I've noticed that after last CC update my Lightroom (and photoshop - which I covered in different thread) started to act really weird, especially if in full screen mode (L keyboard shortcut). Also it's really slow when comes to reading photos from NASes (connected by cable, not wifi). The color photo shows the behaviour of clicking in "Develop mode" link.
Screenshots: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet
Of course I've tried restarting the station, restarting the NAS etc. etc.

Adobe has worked on some of these rendering issues and apparently the 2015.10/6.10 update contains some of these fixes: Lightroom CC 2015.10 now available . I had only seen the top screenshot in your link above and didn't notice there were others further down but those issues might be related so try the update released today. I've certainly seen similar issues recently.

FULL SCREEN mode is activated by the F key. You are using the L key and that is LIGHTS OUT mode and looks normal. If you are talking about the background color being gray instead of black than you can change that in preferences.

Bob, please take Your time and check the screenshots before assuming that I dont know what Lights mode does

Sorry, your original question said FULL SCREEN mode but the screen shot looked more like LIGHTS OUT mode with the white border and such. I assumed you were wanting BLACK around the outside which is the default. It doesnt look like the problem Jao is referring to which is a different issue.

I assume you're referring to the grid overlay outlines appearing in tandem with the Loupe or Compare view. My first thought would be to run the Optimize Catalog function from the File menu, this often flushes out odd behavior. If this doesn't work, then reset your preferences.

This is a known issue with LR 10.8 and 10.9 on MacOS Sierra. Adobe is working on a fix. See here: Lightroom UI panels appearing black on macOS
Lightroom being slow reading from a NAS is unlikely to be a Lightroom problem. More likely to be an OS/network issue.

The screenshot very clearly shows the black side panel problem though. Lightroom is clearly in a mode where they should be drawn and this is the system/lightroom combination that has the issue.

Upon a closer look I think you are correct

Guys, guys, guys - are we looking at different screenshots or what?...
Don't You see, let's say the last screenshot, there are clearly seen rendering issues? I've been using Lightroom for more than 8 years, 'been using the LIGHTS OUT/FULL SCREEN mode for the same time and ALSO I was using it 2-mins before such problem occured.
Let's get things straight - sometimes in LIGHTS OUT mode those borders and background of grid appear - how that can be normal to You if You can clearly see that on the second to last screenshot I got ONE photo visible ("E" keyboard shortcut) and in LIGHTS OUT mode there's a broken grid beneath or on the photo?
Let's get things easier:
Do You now understand what I mean?
(I had few health issues lately which correspond with my vocabulary issues right now so maybe I didn't explain it enough - that's why I posted the screenshot)
