Can't hear Audio in Preview (AE CC 2017)

All settings in preferences are mostly default, the audio is going through the speakers etc, so nothing wrong there, tried some of the "recommended" shortcuts on the numpad, still not picking up any sound, waveform clearly shows it.

Nobody can tell you anything without exact system info or other technical details like actual settings for audio prefs, preview, source files used etc..

Turns out the exe was muted in After Effects, unmuted it in volume mixer.
