Adobe sketch keeps deleting lines after I draw them

while using adobe sketch I have noticed that recently, whether I am using a pencil or round brush, that sketch will immediately delete my line right after I've drawn it. Sometimes it will delete it 4 times in a row and then will be fine for 5-6 strokes, then delete it 3 times in a row again. I have updated recently and even it even does this ina brand new Project document. Help would be appreciated.
