Is anyone else unable to open Lightroom CC since Microsoft updated Win10 to version 1703? I was using Lightroom the morning prior to the afternoon update and now it will not open.
I had a chat session where the Adobe tech did some trouble shooting, uninstalled LR and reinstalled. It is working now but one thing that was done in Preferences was the graphics processor was unchecked and now LR is SLOW.
The processor is a GeForce GTX970 and has always worked fine and the LR speed was OK. When I checked the box to use the processor, app failed to work, same error as I started with this morning after the Win10 update.

Hi ms7165 ,
May I know if you are getting any error message while you try to open Lightroom?
Please take a look at this article Lightroom doesn't launch or closes automatically after splash screen and let us know if that helps.
Thanks,
Akash

Keyboard quit responding in chat boxes, both of them. I am going to reboot and reopen Lightroom and see what happens.
Is there a 64 bit version of CC Cloud?

Lightroom CC/6 are 64 bits only. There is no 32 bit available.
Do sign out of Creative Cloud app as well following the link I posted and let us know how it goes.

The Graphics drivers must be outdated resulting Lightroom to slow down/crash.
Please update them from your manufacturer's website and see if that helps.

Drivers are current and the processor “passed” when you view the logs.

I have already gone thru the this.
It has worked perfectly with this PC/Graphics Card for some 2 years. The problem started immediately after the Win10 update to version 1703. Microsoft says Adobe has not updated the compatibility for the updated OS.
Graphics Processor Info:
GeForce GTX 970/PCIe/SSE2
Check OpenGL support: Passed
Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Version: 3.3.0 NVIDIA 381.65

I had the same error with the GTX 1050.
Reverting to the 378.92 Nvidia drivers worked for me.
Good Luck!

I have also problems with 1703.
I can start Lightroom (6.12) but no import oder foldersynchronisation is possible.
All other functions works fine. Even if I open photoshop oder DXO from Lightrroom an play the files back...
regards
