In Bridge, can't get color management enabled

Followed suggestions under Help. Open CS6 first, then Bridge. Didn't work. Then followed steps to go into AppData\.....Color. Step #10 says click Advanced button. Step #11 says click Edit-there is no edit button or tab

Bridge Color Management  which is normally Edit > Color Settings under Bridge is for the Creative Suite of Adobe programs. Design Premium for example. It is not enabled for standalone versions of Photoshop or Illustrator.

Just to be clear: color management is always on (at least by default).

The Bridge setting is just for synchronizing all individual settings across applications - which, BTW, there's no particular need to do. My own color settings have always been deliberately unsynchronized.
