Auto-link Effect Properties to Control Layer via Expressions?

I have a precomp with a ton of layers on it and they all have effects linked to a null controller. I've been manually linking effects properties to the null, but that's so time consuming. Know any faster ways to do that?

It's inherent in the nature of any form of programming that there is a million ways to solve the same problem. An expression cannot know to which inputs it is supposed to connect. You can of course "smarten it up" with complex code to look for specific name strings and other conditions, but otherwise that's something you would do with a scrip. Feel free to search AEScripts and otehr sources for something that may help to facilitate the process.
