Every time I make a composition my photos/videos don't show up. Please help.

Every time i click on the image it is black and wont show up.

your fast preview mode is set to wireframe. you can see that by looking at the upper right corner of your composition window. press on the lighting icon and toggle it back. adaptive resolution is the common fast preview mode

there is also a shortcut for it Ctrl+Alt+2
