I am unable to use Mercury GPU Acceleration. The problem started when I converted a piece of Footage from Premiere Pro CC into a After-effects Composition I got the following message:
Error Message: This project was last used with Mercury GPU Acceleration (OpenCL), which is not
avaliable on this system. Mercury Software Only will be Used.
Since the initial error I check and the Mercury GPU Acceleration is not avaliable on several different project files.
I have tried reloading the after-effects project. I have tried resetting the After-Effect Preference file. I have also updated my video card drivers. I have checked and it appears I have to most upto date verison of After-Effects. Hardware specs are listed below:

Have you ever been able to use acceleration in AE on this system?
Have you tried updating your GPU driver?
Have you tried today's update to AE?

Good afternoon,
Yes, previously I was able to use acceleration in AE on this system.
I have updated the graphics card driver here in April.
I am updating AE as I type.
I saw something some one else had posted about this issue, I will need to go find the link and review it further.
Thanks for your response.
John

Just out of curiosity are you using Lumetri with imported LUT files?
I wasted 2 hours of my shift finding out that if a custom LUT file path is broken [ in my case because a network drive wasn't mounted],
AE responds by showing you this error until you turn off all instances of Lumetri / relink.
Trying to post about it to save someone some time, and yours is the closest Ive found.

That sounds awful! Thank you for sharing the issue and how to fix it. Have you filed a bug with Adobe about it? I'm sure they could figure out a better way to handle the error. Adobe.com/go/wish is the bug report form.

Thanks Szalam- will do that now.
But oops, It seems the Adobe site is having more 404 issues?
