Images Corrupting in LR CC

I have been a Lightroom user as a professional Photog for over 6 years now.

I have libraries of images taken over many years.

I've recently upgraded to Lightroom CC and now, I find a lot of images are appearing as corrupt in the library. Not only new ones. If that were the case I'd say it was a faulty card reader or even camera. But images that I have taken 5 years ago with different equipment and uploaded 5 years ago, edited and exported in HR are suddenly appearing as corrupt.

I would really appreciate some help.

Thanks.

Hi Tifftiffs,

Can you please share the screenshot of the images which are corrupt?

Also, try and export those images and check how they look outside Lightroom.

Regards.
Mohit

It looks the same as all the other posts about LR and corrupt images, part of the image suddenly goes white with lines etc.

Upon export it exports looking the same as the preview. When they have previously exported just fine.

This is a corrupted file, caused by some hardware malfunction. THe obvious place to look is to see if the hard disk is failing by running diagnostics on it. Other possible causes include bad memory chips in the computer.
