Hi,

I have a problem with Photoshop.

When I use the brush tool, and I want to change the size or the hardness, I use the keyboard shortcut ctrl alt + drag.

Since few days, I don't see the red shape which help me to see the appearance of the shape.

All my settings are OK, I don't see any problem.

I try everything but I can't find what is the problem.

Have you got any solution to help me because this shortcut is very useful and fast.

Thank you!

What are the Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphics Processor Settings?

What is the Photoshop > Preferences > Tools > Vary Brush Hardness based on HUD vertical movement setting?

Thank you for your help, I find how to fix it.

Photoshop didn't used a graphic processor, I just have to check the button which allows to use a Graphic Processor.

Thank you both of you!

The shortcut keys to change brush hardness are Control plus the left or right bracket key.

If you don't see the shape of the brush, it may be that your Caps Lock key is down.

If that doesn't solve the issue, please explain further.
