We have several (remote) designers working on the same inDesign file. What kind of check-in/check-out file management options are available so that they don't overwrite each other and each has access to the newest version of the file?

Thank you.

And while youre working on your doc, your link palette shows, if there are any updates. You also can click deeper into your link palette so see which links your linked InD holds.

Depends on what they’re doing. If it’s only editing content, use InCopy.

What the plugin does: You can assign a page, and the plugin creates a new InD-file for you, and does link that doc into your doc-page. You can now give away the new InD-file, which holds just the extracted page.

But there is more: With the plugin youre able to import that link back into your doc, like its never been a seperate file.
