Crash on export

After updating to the latest 2017.2 release of After Effects (14.2.0.198), it's now crashing everytime I try to export from the render queue to Media Encoder. The error message that it gives is:

"crash occurred while invoking plug-in AEDynamicLinkServer"

Also, it often just crashes when I try to open After Effects initially.

Any help, very appreciated!

Nobody can tell you anything without exact system info or other technical details.

Have you tried rebooting?

What are your render settings and output module settings? (Screenshots might be the easiest way to show this.)

What is in your composition?

I have a very similar machine and haven't had any problems yet.

After a bit more investigating, it seems to only crash when exporting from the render queue to Media Encoder (CC 2017) when using Plexus v2

You might try seeing if the Plexus folks have a new version you can download and/or contact their support team.

Make sure your version of all your installed Adobe apps is up to date. Mismatched versions of AE and PPro and Audition will cause Dynamic Link server to fail.
