Hello,

Where best to store photos for Lightroom on a 13" 2016 MBP?

Yes, I will get better performance if they're on the internal 500GB SSD. But will it actually feel that much faster than my current config: a USB-C connected G-Drive HDD?

Would appreciate your advice.

Many thanks!

You will benefit from having the Lightroom catalog and program on the SSD drive. But you will see no performance hit at all by having your images on the USB external drive.
