What happened to OCR capabality and v9 Geospattal processing?

What happened to OCR capability, and the Geospatial
Registration tool on the Analysis toolbar?

I use these all the time.  This does not appear to be a step forward.

Who cares what application.  It was part of Adobe, now it's gone.  What's the deal?

OCR is not gone.  If you can bring yourself to reply to the question with what version you have, we can tell you how to find it. Or you could read the help.

OCR is still in Acrobat. If you can tell us which version you are using, were can tell you where to find it. The geospatial configuration tool (which, of I remember correctly was only in Actobat 9 Pro Extended) is no longer part of Acrobat. This functionality is now available from a 3rd party as a plug-in.
